Welcome to Mt Tarampa State School

Mt Tarampa State School opened its doors on 23 July, 1906. There were 22 enrolments in that first year. Today enrolments fluctuate between 30 and 50 students each year.

There are two multi-age classes: P-3 and Years 3-6. The school is staffed by one teaching principal, one classroom teacher, one part-time science teacher, three teacher aides, one cleaner and a part-time grounds person. Support staff include visiting instrumental music, physical education and STLaN (Support Teacher Literacy and Numeracy). Access to guidance, speech and occupational therapists is available on a needs basis.

The school is well resourced with full wireless internet connection and a very low student to laptop ratio.
